At Degas Experts, our team of researchers, scholars,and conservation and technical experts have been authenticating and appraising the works of Edgar Degas since 2002.

We employ native French speakers and Italian speakers—Italy being a country in which Degas spent an extended period of time, studying and working.

State-of-the-art techniques are utilized to determine authenticity, including X-ray photography and other forensic methods, as well as a sophisticated art connoisseurship.

Following a positive review, we will issue a Certificate of Authenticity (COA).
